Refurbishment Grants Programme
This programme sits within the OVA’s Veterans’ Capital Housing Fund. Under this programme, the Trust will award will award grants of up to £75K towards projects that assist in the refurbishment or extension of rental accommodation that will offer high quality support for veterans with a housing need.

Summary
You can apply to this programme if your project will: enable refurbishments of existing affordable homes for rent to veterans, enable refurbishments of sites that increase the availability of veteran housing; and ensure properties meet decent homes and energy efficiency standards.
Eligibility
We invite applications from: registered charities that can show they work with veterans, or registered social housing providers that can show they work with veterans. There is more detailed information about eligibility in the programme guidelines.
Objectives
The Trust want to support projects that need help to refurbish existing housing for veterans. This could be transitional or permanent housing.A strong application will show how the project will contribute to the aims of the government’s ambition to reduce veteran homelessness and end rough sleeping, and how the benefits of the work would contribute to the overall aims of this programme.
Dates
If you apply by midday 3 January 2025, you’ll receive a decision before the end of March 2025.
